In recent years, the number of international degree seekers has increased, and the Language Centre has consequently aimed to adapt its <strong>Italian as a second language (L2)<\/strong> programme to respond to the new needs that have arisen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The main goals of the project include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Expanding the range of Italian language courses available to degree seekers, including through the provision of online self-study courses that students can use even before arriving in Italy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhance the communicative aspect of Italian language courses;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expanding the range of courses to include <a href=\"https:\/\/cla.unipd.it\/en\/italian-courses\/fee-based\/\">paid courses<\/a> for students who wish to further develop their Italian language skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Updating the offer for exchange students, modifying and diversifying the types of free courses available to them;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementing <a href=\"https:\/\/cla.unipd.it\/en\/registration-tal\/\">Italian language proficiency tests (TAL)<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Versione in italiano The three-year ITAL2aCLAPD project was launched in the 2023\/24 academic year to proactively respond to the needs of the international community of the University of Padua.
