These courses are intended to provide support for those <strong>aiming to achieve a <a href=\"http:\/\/localhost:9080\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/image.png\">score of about 6.5<\/a><\/strong> (B2 CEFR level) and focus mainly on oral and written production skills.<br>Therefore, the courses are aimed at those who have already achieved a level above B1 of the CEFR, assessed through a mandatory placement test.<br>The courses are mainly aimed at practice through practical tests simulating the exam. Therefore, they are not general English language courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The courses last <strong>30 hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-default-color has-custom-color-3-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-43d4c6999ca7b2558e43112788bfae46\"><strong>Registration for the intensive IELTS preparation course in June 2026 is open until 7 May<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n                <p class=\"trigger \">\n                    <a href=\"#toggle_157317140069fe5d1647b66\"><strong>Course recipients<\/strong><\/a>\n                <\/p>\n                <div class=\"toggle_container\" style=\"display:none;\">\n                    <div class=\"block\">\n                        <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IELTS preparation courses are intended for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>students and employees of the University of Padova<\/strong> (professors and technical-administrative staff). They are also addressed to all those who, for various reasons, have a formalised relationship with the University of Padua (collaborators, scholarship holders, postgraduate students, master students, contract lecturers, etc.);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>users outside the University of Padova<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A maximum of 20 students are admitted per course.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\n                    <\/div>\n                <\/div>\n            <div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n                <p class=\"trigger \">\n                    <a href=\"#toggle_155149136069fe5d1647b7d\"><strong>Course registration fee<\/strong><\/a>\n                <\/p>\n                <div class=\"toggle_container\" style=\"display:none;\">\n                    <div class=\"block\">\n                        <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration fee:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>for Unipd users*: <strong>\u20ac252<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for external users: <strong>\u20ac302<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The fee includes the revenue stamp of \u20ac2,00 but does not include the textbook.<br>The fee is non-refundable except for exceptional and serious reasons to be evaluated at the discretion of CLA Management. In this case an email must be sent stating the reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*In the case of payment by a University department, please contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/cla.unipd.it\/en\/contact-form-administrative-office\/\">CLA Administrative Office<\/a> before registering for the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N.B. <strong>The course fee does NOT include the exam registration fee<\/strong> which must be paid through the British Council portal at the time of finalising the exam registration.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\n                    <\/div>\n                <\/div>\n            <div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n                <p class=\"trigger \">\n                    <a href=\"#toggle_147053764869fe5d1647b8a\"><strong>Admission test<\/strong><\/a>\n                <\/p>\n                <div class=\"toggle_container\" style=\"display:none;\">\n                    <div class=\"block\">\n                        <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selection of participants is carried out through a <strong>mandatory admission test<\/strong> to be taken online within the Moodle platform, from any PC location equipped with headphones\/audio. The test is mandatory even for candidates who already have an English level certification. Access to the test will be possible after registering within Moodle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The admission test consists of three parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a <strong>reading, listening and grammar<\/strong> test (max. 30 minutes),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a <strong>written production<\/strong> test (max. 40 minutes). Only those who pass the first part of the test will be able to take the second part,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an <strong>oral production<\/strong> test (max. 5 minutes), which is not considered for the admission to the course but is taken into account to comprehensively assess the level of the class.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The test can only be attempted once.&nbsp;The maximum total duration of the test is approximately one and a half hours. You may take the three tests at different times, but in any case before the closing date for registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>maximum of 20 students are admitted per course <\/strong>(the first 20 successful candidates in the admission test).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the results of the admission test, a list of those admitted to the course will be published. Should there be more than 20 eligible applicants, a waiting list will be created on the basis of chronological order of enrolment. Due to the limited number of places, no more than 50 pre-registrations will be accepted for each starting course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please do not proceed with registration if you are not sure you will be able to attend at the times indicated.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N.B.
