The Department of Language and Linguistic Science and Languages for All will be hosting the 6th annual conference in the Innovative Language Teaching and Learning at University series at the University of York on 17th June. Following on from the great success in Newcastle (2011), Bristol (2012), Manchester (2013), Leeds (2014) and Nottingham (2015), in 2016 the main theme of the conference will be Enhancing Employability.
INNOCONF16 welcomes professionals involved in the teaching and learning of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) to share their expertise on current challenges in the Higher Education sector. This year’s aim is to engage in productive collaboration that will enable language professionals to further equip students to succeed in our ever-growing modern multicultural societies. The central topics of discussion are connected with the role that language skills and content themes play in enriching the learning experience of MFL students to enhance their employability and professional capabilities.
We are delighted to announce that selected papers from the conference will be published in an edited volume.
