Call for contributions: LSPHE publication

The Journal of Teaching English for Specific and Academic Purposes (http://espeap.junis.ni.ac.rs/index.php/espeap) is planning to publish LSPHE conference proceedings in a special issue.

In addition to contributions from previous LSPHE speakers, this issue is open to papers from colleagues who did not attend, or present at, LSPHE but would like to submit a paper in line with the series’ objectives and audience.

The LSPHE conference series aims to bring together classroom practitioners, programme leaders and language centre managers in a common enterprise to exchange, reflect and explore current and future developments in the field of Languages for Specific Purposes.

LSPHE welcomes contributions rooted in classroom practices as well as more theoretical approaches leading to direct or indirect applications for teachers and learners of LSP. The topics addressed over the course of the last three years ranged from curriculum design to assessment, and included other topics such as task-based learning, students’ needs and motivation, intercultural training and teaching material design. Contributions may vary in length, with a general guideline of approximately 3,000 words.

We are now accepting abstract submissions for this special issue. See below for details:

1st December – Deadline for submission of expressions of interest (300-word abstracts)
20th December – Notification of acceptance sent to contributors
30th April – Deadline for initial article submissions
31st May – Return contributions to authors for corrections
31st July – Contributions to be finalised for publication
