The early bird registration for a local LASIG conference in Brno (Czech Republic) called ‘The Teacher´s Role in the Development of Learner Autonomy’ this September. The conference will be held at the Masaryk University Language Centre on 21-22 September 2018. This conference will explore the specific and everchanging position of the teacher within the context of autonomous learning.
The keynote speakers will be Leni Dam, David Little and Libor Štěpánek. The main themes will include Personalized Learning, Motivation, Out of Class Learning, Counselling, Empowering Students and Redefined Status of Learning. The conference will offer talks, workshops and poster sessions. The target audience of this conference are teachers and teacher trainers at primary, secondary as well as tertiary levels.
