Intensive courses

The intensive Italian courses will start on September 2020
NB: Courses will be held Monday to Thursday probably in the morning

Courses are structured as follows: 4 hours of lessons per day,  for a total of 40 hours in class.
The first Italian language course you take at the Language Center of Padova is free.

If you wish to attend any additional course, the cost is EUR 102.00

You should provide your own copy of the textbook by yourself.

Online registration is mandatory.

There is no placement test.

• If you have an Italian language certificate: you can choose the class you wish to attend according to the level of your certificate or you can refer to the syllabus of the course and the self-assessment grid of the Common European Framework of reference for Languages.
• If you do not have any Italian language certificate: you can choose the class you wish to attend by referring to the syllabus  of the course and the self-assessment grid of the Common European Framework of reference for Languages.

You will not receive a confirmation email after your registration.

The number of courses provided at each level will depend on the number of students who sign up.

All courses will be held at the Language Centre – Via Venezia, 16 – 35131 PADOVA (map).

At the end of the course you will take a proficiency test (pass mark 60/100). You will receive a certificate of attendance.

You have to attend a minimum of 70% of the 40 hours  (28 hours) in order to be entitled to do the final test.

Students enrolled at the University of Padova have free access to the multimedia materials for autonomous study. The materials are available at the Language Center Multimedia Library or in our website.
