Erasmus outgoing

The University Language Centre organizes 30-hour intensive courses for Erasmus outgoing students. 

 

CALL 2024/25 – REGISTRATION OPENS FROM 4 TO 19 MAY 2024

Recipients: Participation is free and open only to winners of Erasmus+ mobility or another type of exchange agreement (in this latter case, compatibly with the dates and deadlines already foreseen for the courses).
Every student can participate in one course. The possibility of participating in a second course is subject to the availability of places and priority is given to absolute beginners. 

Languages: English, French, Portuguese*, Spanish, German.

Courses periods: from the end of May to 30 September 2024 (excluding August).
The first courses start on May 27th.

Registration: from 4 to 19 May.
Fill out the pre-registration form and complete the registration steps within the Moodle platform. Filling out the form is mandatory.

Online placement test: from 4 to 19 May.
The possibility of enrolling in the courses is subject to an online placement test. Only absolute beginners are exempt from taking the test (but they must still fill out the pre-registration form and complete the procedure by May 19th). *Only for Portuguese there is no online placement test, given that the level of most students is usually beginners.

Courses structure: The total duration of the course is 30 academic hours, spread over 3-5 weeks.

Courses levels and timetables: from 20 May.
Details relating to the number of courses, levels, times and delivery methods divided by language will be published within the Moodle space.

Certificates: At the end of the course students who have attended at least 70% of the lessons receive a certificate of attendance, NOT stating their proficiency level. Students who need a certificate assessing their level must read the information below.


Language proficiency level

ENGLISH, FRENCH, GERMAN, SPANISH: students who need a certificate assessing their proficiency level to submit to the partner university must take the TAL tests in one of the sessions dedicated to Erasmus out winners: Erasmus OUTGOING testsLevel tests and language courses are two separate and independent activities.

PORTUGUESE: the certificate of attendance issued at the end of the Portuguese course will also contain an indication of the level achieved by the individual student and can serve as a level certificate to be presented at the destination institution. The level will be assessed with a small profit test scheduled at the end of the course. Students who need to submit to the partner University a certificate assessing their level before the beginning of the courses must contact the students’ office (didattica.cla@unipd.it).
