Three-year programme (2025-2027) in person courses for improving speaking skills
The CLAforPTA programme, carried out in collaboration between the University Language Centre (CLA) and the Training Office of the Human Resources Area of the University of Padova, aims to develop the language skills of the Technical and Administrative Staff (PTA) of the university who, as part of their working activities, collaborate with foreign universities, support foreign students and teachers, or interact with international academic institutions.
The aim of the project, therefore, is to improve the ability to communicate effectively in the workplace and with users, improving the quality of services offered and promoting the internationalisation of the University.
Aim: to improve participants’ language skills, with a particular focus on speaking
Project kick-off: autumn 2025
Duration: two programmes of different lengths are planned, based on the level of language proficiency as assessed by the CLA:
- Three-year programme for pre-intermediate and intermediate levels (60 hours per year for a total of 180 hours over three years)
- Two-year programme for upper-intermediate level (60 hours in the first year, 40 hours in the second year, for a total of 100 hours over two years)
