HOW TO OBTAIN THE 3 CFU FOR ITALIAN LANGUAGE
To obtain the credits it is necessary to already have an A2 level (or higher) of Italian.
The 3 credits can be obtained through one of the following alternatives:
1. ATTENDING AN ITALIAN COURSE
To obtain the 3 credits, students must attend at least 70% of a course and pass the final test.
Students can attend:
Intensive courses consist in 25 hours of classes and exercises, organised within 2 weeks.
Biannual courses consist in 50 hours of classes and self-study, organised throughout the semester (2 meetings of 2 hours each per week).
Credits will be registered by the end of March for students who complete a biannual course in the first semester or an intensive course in September or February, by the end of June for students who complete a biannual course in the second semester.
2. PASSING AN ITALIAN LANGUAGE TEST AT A2 LEVEL
To register for the test it is not mandatory to take a course, but to prepare it is strongly suggested that students complete the activities in the Italian TAL A2 preparation course available completely online for self-study.
If the test is passed, credits will be registered within two weeks after the test date.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE REQUIRED LEVEL OF ITALIAN (A2)
