General information
This course lasts indicatively 30 hours and is available online for self-study.
The course aims to train students to develop their reading and listening skills to pass the TAL test of Italian A2 Lettura e Ascolto (Reading and listening), held at the University Language Centre. Within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the Council of Europe, A2 is considered an “elementary level”. The oral and written texts analysed during the course cover a wide range of topics to expand students’ lexis and deal with specific grammar issues at an A2/A2+ level.
The exercises done are similar to those students will have to do in the test.
Information about the course structure are available here: COURSE DESCRIPTION.
Knowledge required
The course is aimed at students who already have an A1 level of Italian.
To check the level of your reading and listening skills in Italian you can do the test at the following link: https://elearning.unipd.it/cla/course/view.php?id=2499
If you get a very low score in the test, we recommend attending an intensive or 6-month course at the Language Centre before attending the preparation course for TAL A2 and taking the TAL A2 test.
